وجهت الإدارة العامة للمرور، برئاسة اللواء عصام شادى مدير المرور حملات مرورية، بالتنسيق مع كل إدارات المرور بمديريات الأمن على مستوى الجمهورية، لضبط الدراجات البخارية المخالفة.

وأسفرت جهود الحملات عن تحرير 864 مخالفة متنوعة لدراجات بخارية، وحجز 320 دراجة بخارية مخالفة، للحد من العمليات الإرهابية التى تُسْتَخْدَم فيها تلك الدراجات.
