أكد هيرماس رضوان رئيس نادى بنى عبيد الرياضى، أن النادى سينظم احتفالية كبرى، احتفالاً بمناسبة مرور 10 سنوات لفوز فريق الكرة على نادى الزمالك، وإقصائه من الدور الـ 32 فى بطولة كأس مصر عام 2008.
وقال هيرماس رضوان فى تصريحات تليفزيونية، إن الاحتفالية ليست بهدف السخرية أو الإساءة لنادى الزمالك، وإنما تحفيزاً للجيل الحالى من فريق بنى عبيد، وتذكيرهم بالجيل الذهبى للنادى، الذى رفع اسم الفريق عالمياً - على حد قوله - كاشفا عن نيته دعوة المسؤولين بنادى الزمالك لحضور هذه الاحتفالية.
