أعلن المهندس سميح ساويرس، عن استعداده لإقامة مهرجان للموسيقي، موضحًا أنه سيكون لمدة أسبوع، وتم الاتفاق مع وزارتي السياحة والثقافة.

وأوضح "ساويرس"، خلال لقائه ببرنامج "معكم منى الشاذلي"، المذاع عبر فضائية "سي بي سي"، اليوم الجمعة: "ندرس تنفيذ مهرجان الموسيقي، ولما بنوعد بنوفي"، موضحًا أنه سيتم تقسيم أسبوع الموسيقى إلىيوم للموسيقى الكلاسيكية وآخر للجاز وآخر لموسيقى الشباب، وذلك لكي نستطيع جذب كافة الأعمار.
