أشاد باسم نعيم المتحدث باسم كنيسة القديسة أثناثيوس، بزيارة الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي لكاتدراية العاصمة الأدارية الجديدية فى عيد الميلاد كونه أول رئيس يزور الكاتدراية لمدة 3 سنوات متتالية.
وقال "نعيم"، "إن كل مسيحي يبايع الرئيس السيسي لأنه رئيس السلام لكل المصريين".
وأشار خلال استضافته فى برنامج صباح " on" على قناة on live، إلى إبداع ترانيم عيد الميلاد التى تأخذ الروح من الحزن للمحبة لاختراقها للنفس باعتبارها رسائل لنشر السلام، قائلا: "سنظل يد واحدة ومنذ دخول الإسلام مصر لم تهدم كنيسة".
