فازت فريدة عثمان سباحة المنتخب الوطني بالميدالية بذهبية في سباق 50 مترًا حرة بدورة الألعاب الإفريقية المقامة حاليًا في المغرب.

وحصدت فريدة الذهبية، بزمن قدره دقيقتان و 95 جزء من الثانية.

وتعد هذه الميدالية الثانية لفريدة بعد إحراز فضية في سباق 100 متر حرة.
