كتبت - نغم هلال تمكنت وزارة البيئة، من خلال فريق عمل محمية أبوجالوم، بإدارة محميات سيناء، من تسجيل أحد أكبر الدلافين على مستوى العالم من نوع شبيه الحوت القاتل (أوركا) بساحل خليج العقبة. كان تم العثور على الدولفين المذكور نافقًا على شاطئ محمية أبوجالوم، أثناء الدوريات الساحلية، وتم التعامل معه بشكل علمى وسليم، حيث تم تحديد نوعه وأخذ القياسات كافة اللازمة للجسم والعينات المطلوبة لدراستها.
