قسم شرطة المطرية بعد افتتاحه بدا المشهد غريباً على سكان المطرية، إجراءات أمنية أمام حرم قسم شرطة المطرية لم تستثنى أحداً، تحسباً "لأي حادث تفجيري قد يستهدف القسم بعد افتتاحه من جديد"، الجميع يقف أمام أسلاك شائكة عند الحاجز الأول، الذي يتولى تفتيشه "أمناء شرطة"، وفي الحاجز ذاته سيارة ضخمة تقف بعرض الشارع، يقوم ضباط الشرطة بأنفسهم بتفتيش المارة، حتى إذا كانوا من أهالي المنطقة.
