أكد أحمد عبد الهادى، المتحدث الرسمى باسم شركة المترو، استمرار تشغيل محطة مترو الأوبرا وعدم غلقها نهائيا من اليوم الثلاثاء حتى يوم الخميس 29 نوفمبر. وأضاف المتحدث الرسمى باسم شركة المترو، فى بيان صحفى، أنه سيتم استمرار فتح المحطة أيضا أمام الجمهور يوم الخميس 29 نوفمبر.
كانت إدارة مترو الأنفاق، أعلنت فى وقت سابق اليوم أنه سيتم إغلاق محطة الأوبرا اليوم الثلاثاء، من الساعة 5 مساء حتى 8 مساء، لمدة 3 ساعات فقط، تزامنا مع افتتاح مهرجان القاهرة السينمائى الدورة الأربعين، وسيتم الإغلاق أيضا يوم الخميس المقبل فى نفس الموعد لإقامة حفل ختام المهرجان.
