أكد مرتضى منصور رئيس الزمالك، أنه لم يصله خطاب رسمي، إلى الآن يبلغه بإيقافه لمدة عام من قبل الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم بعد تعديه لفظيًا على أحمد أحمد رئيس الكاف.
وقال رئيس نادي الزمالك في تصريحات تليفزيونية: أقسم بالله لو القرار طلع بإيقافي مش هدخل أحمد أحمد وعمرو فهمي مبني الكاف في القاهرة.
وتابع منصور: لو تأكدت من إيقافي هولع في الاتحاد الإفريقي.
وأشار منصور: هو أنا عنصر من عناصر اللعبة علشان أتوقف، أنا ولا مدرب أو لاعب كرة حالي علشان يتم إيقافي.
