نفى مصدر مطلع ما نشرته وسائل الإعلام، حول قيام 3 سيدات بإلقاء جثث الأطفال بمنطقة الهرم، وأن الجريمة تمت في إحدى دور الأيتام غير المرخصة.
وأضاف المصدر أن التحريات حول الواقعة ما زالت جارية لكشف حقيقتها وتحديد مرتكبيها.
كان قسم شرطة الطالبية تلقى بلاغًا من الأهالي مفاده العثور على 3 جثث لأطفال، وبالانتقال والفحص تبين أنهم في حالة تعفن شديدة.
