حرص محمود الخطيب،رئيس مجلس ادارة النادي الاهلي،على توجيه رسالة مهمة إلى جماهير النادي الأهلي وأعضائه. وقال "الخطيب" في كلمته باحتفالية التتويج بالدوري الـ40 في تاريخه :"من الممكن أن نختلف داخل بيتنا، ولكن عندما يكون هناك تحدي قوي في مواجهة النادي الأهلي يجب علينا أن نتكاتف من أجل بناء النادي الاهلي". واضاف:" عائلة النادي الاهلي هي التي ستحمي النادي من اي هجوم عليها،واحنا في النهاية جميعًا كتلة واحدة ولن يفرقنا احد".
