علقت الفنانة ريهام عبد الغفور،على خبر عرض غرفة نوم الملك فاروق للبيع بأحد المواقع الأجنبية، قائلة: "حاجة غريبة أن أوضة نوم تختفى.. أنا صريحة ..أنا مش مثقفة أو ومش مطلعة.. ويمكن لما أصبح عندى فيسبوك بقيت أعرف معلومات"، لافتة إلى أن مثل هذه الأخبار تزعجها بشدة كون ما يعرض للبيع هو جزء من تاريخ وتراث مصر. وأضافت الفنانة ريهام عبد الغفور، خلال حوارها مع الإعلامية سمر يسرى ببرنامج "أنا وأنا"، المذاع عبر فضائية "ON E"، أنه وللأسف لا يحافظ بعض المصريين على آثارهم ولا يقدرون قيمتها، وتابعت: "أنا مع فكرة أننا فى مصر يعنى مش تعميم بس للأسف مش بنحافظ على حاجتنا، ومش بنقدر قيمتها ..متعودناش نهتم".
